The outer gearwheel surrounding the emblem symbolises technical education, engineering excellence and industrial progress. It signifies the institute's role in driving mechanical, technological, and socio-economic advancement. The central stylised ‘P’ and waves representing the Patel Group. Merging into it from the left are dynamic, fluid waves. These wave banners symbolise continuous learning, the flow of knowledge and adapting to modern trends. The motto of the college ‘Vision Beyond the Future’ defines the institution's commitment to progressive education.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature.
