The logo of Medicaps University features an abstract purple and burgundy pictorial of a shield-shaped panel with the name of the university written on the right in same colours in sans serif capitals. The shield-shape symbolises strength, resilience and a solid educational foundation that equips students to face future global challenges. The upward-expanding triangles or the geometric pattern inside the shield expands upward, representing intellectual, professional, and personal growth. The interwoven triangles form a network pattern that symbolises interconnectedness and synergy. It reflects the active collaboration between students, faculty, alumni and industry partners. The bottom stem structure acts as a tree trunk or pillar, representing strong roots in tradition, ethics and academic excellence. The deep purple and burgundy gradient indicate dynamism, forward movement and continuous evolution. Purple traditionally represents wisdom and academic brilliance, while the burgundy tones symbolise passion, energy and vitality.

ECGC LIMITED ECGC Limited (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd.), wholly owned by Government of India, was set up in 1957 with the objective of promoting exports from the country by providing Credit Risk Insurance and related services for exports. It functions under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce and Industry and is managed by a Board of Directors comprising representatives of the Government, Reserve Bank of India, banking and insurance and exporting community. The logo of the Board is based on Devanagari letter ‘उ’ drawn using four swooshes, in which the cyan represents the mountains, blue represents the rivers, red represents the temples of the land and green represents the forests. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
