RAYAT BAHRA UNIVERSITY

Rayat Bahra University (RBU) wss established under Government of Punjab Act No. 16 of 2014 vide notification No. 17-leg/2014 dated August 13, 2014. The red and blue circular emblem of the university has its acronym ‘RB’ placed as an interesting monogram in the centre of a circular border carrying its name. The emblem is bold, direct and attractive. The colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

The circular emblem of this university has a gear wheel with sixteen teeth holding the motif of a decorative column standing on a lotus pedestal and supported on either side by scroll designs. These are ensconced by a border on which the name of the university is inscribed in Devanagari and Bengali.
