JAYPEE UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The insignia of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) has a light blue colour circle on which a globe is placed. Above the globe a torch is placed. Around the blue circle the name of the institute is written. All these are supported by its acronym ‘JUIT’ written in blue colour bold experimental font, wherein the dots above ‘j’ and ‘i’s are depicted as human heads. At the bottom the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्या तत्व ज्योतिसमः’ meaning ‘The Element of Knowledge is Equal to Light’ is written. The globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness and the torch is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power.
