The green circular emblem of National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has a rising sun supported by a pair of shaking hands and its motto in Devanagari ‘सहयोग’ meaning ‘Collaboration’. The shaking hands refers to cooperation and collaboration and the rising sun refers to the future of these endeavours, which is bright, path breaking and enriching. These motifs are ensconced by a circular border with decorative elements inscribed on which the name of the Corporation in Devanagari and English.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’.
