NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL HIGHER EDUCATION PROJECT 

The orange and green emblem of National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) is a wordmark created with sans serif bold capitals with the letter ‘A’ transformed into a green leaf and the letter ‘E' with a mortarboard hat. These motifs refer to agriculture and higher education respectively. The colour orange represents energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

14 CORPS The 14 Corps of the Indian Army is a part of the Army’s Udhampur-based Northern Command. It was raised after the Kargil War in 1999, to control troops in Ladakh. It currently consists of 3rd Infantry Division. The division was created in October 1962 in Ladakh. It fought in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Until 1990, it was headquartered at Kohima under III Corps. It is headquartered at Kumbathang, near Kargil. The sleeve patch of this Corps is red horizontal striped patch intersected with a white stripe in the background with two crossed torches (Vajra) with trident at their ends and wand in the foreground.

Its emblem is an orange squircle with its acronym ‘Cmm’ as a monogram in white, light blue and violet colours. It is supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वाणी स्वास्थ्य मूलम्’ meaning ‘Health is the Root of Everything’. On the top right corner is the Rod of Aesculapius (also called Asklepios), the ancient mythical god of medicine. Asklepios may have been a real person who was renowned for his gentle remedies and humane treatment of the mentally ill.

The sky, the earth and the sea, the three principal elements of nature in the logo, suggest knowledge. ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY In 1961, the Legislature of the State of Orissa enacted the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology Act, 20 of 1961 with the object of establishing and incorporating a University of Agriculture and Technology. The university was inaugurated by Prof. John K. Galbraith on August 24, 1962 and began its functioning from February 1, 1963, when the Utkal Krushi Mahavidyalaya and the Orissa College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry with their staff were transferred to the university. The emblem of the university has motifs of a bullock with a plough on flowing water supported by a tractor and a power tiller placed on a green circle. AWADHESH PRATAP SINGH UNIVERSITY Awadhesh Pratap Singh University (APSU) was established on July 20, 1968 as a State university of Madhya Pradesh. The university has been named after the freedom fighter Capt. Awadhesh Pratap Singh, the first Prime Minister of Vindhya Pradesh. It was recognized by the UGC in February 1972. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp with a halo and with rays glowing  supported by an open book placed on a small table bearing its Sanskrit motto ‘तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु’ (Ved Vyasa, Kata Upanishad) meaning ‘May the Study of Both of us be Brilliant’. These are ensconced by a yellow border which has the name and place of the university inscribed in Devanagari. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the open book symbolises education, knowledge and wisdom.
