The gear wheel represents interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the motifs of tools represent the field of engineering and science the university offers to its students; the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
