The emblem of Medi-Caps University (MCU) has glowing sun forming the backdrop within which motifs a torch with flame, an open book with a tagline in Sanskrit written on, a mortarboard hat and its name. Below these, on a red banner ‘University’ is written. At the bottom, its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ is written. The sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the torch represents enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the open book represents education, learning, knowledge and wisdom and the mortarboard or oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
