The emblem of Kurukshetra University (KUK) has a circle with cyan outline houses the motifs of flowing water, rising red sun and blooming lotus. These are ensconced by a white border with cyan outlines which carries its name in Devanagari and English separated by a pair of laurels. Below the circular seal, on a white banner, the university’s motto in Sanskrit ‘योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि’ (Shloka 48, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita)meaning ‘Perform All thy Actions with Mind Concentrated on the Divine’ is inscribed. The rising sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the flowing water represents growth, renewal and transformation; the lotuses denote purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the laurels symbolise ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
