Alongside its name is written in brown and black using serif typeface. The shield represents protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the nib represents freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the open book denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the colour brown denotes earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition and black denotes mystery, power, elegance and sophistication.
