The circular emblem of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University Haryana (DBRANLU) in blue tones has a light blue circle housing the motifs of a two-pan beam balance, a pair of supporting laurels, a rising sun and an open book. These are ensconced by a blue circular border on which the name and place of the university is inscribed. On a banner placed on the seal at the bottom its motto in Sanskrit ‘नीयतेविवक्षितार्थः अनेनइतिन्यायः’ (Rishi Akshapada Gautam, Nyaya Sutra) meaning ‘The Means by which we Reach our Object (knowable) element and are able to Know it, that means Justice’. The two-pan beam balance is the symbol of justice, fairness, healing and life; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the open book denotes knowledge, wisdom, learning and education and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes.
