ANDHRA PRAGATHI GRAMEENA BANK

Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) came into existence from June 1, 2006 by amalgamating Rayalaseema Grameena Bank, Sri Anantha Grameena Bank and Pinakini Grameena Bank consequent upon the Government of India Notification dated June 1, 2006. The emblem of the bank has a traditional lamp glowing red in the centre encircled by a black gear wheel on a green background. These are ensconced in a white border on the top portion of which its name is written in cyan; at the bottom its acronym is written and on either side the crown of paddy is placed. At the bottom of the emblem its tagline in Telugu is written. The lamp denotes light, path for growth and way forward; gear wheel is the symbol of industrialisation and progress; green is the colour of life, agriculture and village and crown of paddy denotes agriculture, harvest and food safety. All these represent the service domain of the bank.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.

BLACK DIAMOND COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (BDCET) The orange colour emblem of Black Diamond College of Engineering and Technology (BDCET) features the motifs of an open book, a mortarboard hat, a satellite dish antenna, a computer, an electrical and an electrical transmission tower ensconced by a partial gearwheel and a partial circle. The name of the college circumscribes the gearwheel. On a grey banner, placed at the bottom the initials of the college ‘BDCET’ is inscribed. The name of the place of the college is written at the bottom. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the mortarboard  and the other motifs refer to the different subject disciplines of engineering.

INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL SERVICES CENTRES AUTHORITY The circular emblem of International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has its initials ‘IFSCA’ in blue sans serif with the horizontal stroke of ‘F’ in National Tricolours placed on a grey coloured globe ensconced by a white circular border with a pair of grey outlines  inscribed with its name. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears.
