Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB), a Regional Rural Bank (RRB) was established in the year 2006 under an act of Parliament by amalgamating Manjeera Grameena Bank (Medak); Sangameshwara Grameena Bank (Mahabubnagar); Kakatiya Grameena Bank (Warangal); Nagarjuna Grameena Bank (Khammam and Nalgonda) and Sri Visakha Grameena Bank (Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam) with head office at Hanamkonda, Warangal (Urban District) sponsored by State Bank of India is operating in twenty one districts of Telangana State and three districts of Andhra Pradesh. The logo of the bank has a green motif and blue word mark of its acronym, supported by its tagline ‘We Are With You’. The motif is in a squircle sporting a human depicted like a trunk of a tree and its foliage is treated like eleven humans holding their hand forming a chain. It denotes the people centric environmentally nourishing approach of the bank. The wordmark is its acronym, written using sans serif thin capitals with the ‘v’ has two strokes - one in green and the other in blue. This denotes the emphasis of the bank on agriculture and allied industries and eco friendly, green initiatives. The colour blue represents trust, serenity, calmness, depth and loyalty for which the bank stands for.
