PUDUVAI BHARATHIAR GRAMA BANK

Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank (PBGB) sponsored by Indian Bank was established on March 26, 2008 by Government of India vide Ministry of Finance notification no.1/16/2007-RRB (i) dated 26.3.08. The emblem of PBGB has a monogram of its acronym in yellow colour placed over the outline drawing of the iconic arch of Park Monument in Puducherry and supported by its acronym in green. Built in the centre of the Bharati Park, Park Monument (Aayi Mandapam) is one of the most iconic structures of Pondicherry. Named after a famous female courtesan named 'Aayi', this monument was built during the period of Napoleon III in the sixteenth century. According to lore, Aayi destroyed her own house to build a reservoir to supply water in the city. Aayi Mandapam is an imposing milky white structure that flaunts brilliant Greco-Roman architecture.

The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
