The emblem of Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) is a shield in yellow ochre and blue housing the motifs of a hand holding a fresh shot of plant and a rising sun. The shield is crested by the college’s initials ‘IARE’ and supported by its motto ‘Education for Liberation’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the plant on hand refers to the nurturing of young minds through teaching, learning and educating.
