The orange and black circular insignia of Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a circle holding the rays of light ensconced by white circular border with black outlines bearing its name and place. Alongside, its name is written using medium condensed sans serif typeface with the first letter of each word placed in an orange box. This assembly is supported by an orange line on top and bottom. At the bottom the motto of the university ‘Transforming Education Transforming India’ is written. The rays of light symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour black symbolises mystery, power, elegance and sophistication.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
