PLAKSHA UNIVERSITY PUNJAB

The emblem of Plaksha University Punjab (PUP) depicts an abstract version of plaksha (Ficus lacor) tree or Java fig tree in teal blue colour, which is used in Ayurvedic medicine and is considered sacred in Hinduism, which is found in northern parts of India. This pictorial symbolises knowledge and growth with its branches reaching outwards to represent expanding knowledge and creating a positive impact on society. The elegant teal blue colour is a bluish-green shade that symbolises gentleness, calmness and serenity of blue and strength, growth and high-spiritedness of green.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. It has eight red colour glow spikes. It is placed above a circle with a red outline. The bank's tagline is 'Aapka Bank, Aapke Dwaar'. The logo of the bank has a red circle superimposed by three parallel yellow strokes in unequal lengths flowing freely, upwards. The red dot denotes the hub of the bank and the parent organisation - Department of Post and the yellow lines denote its reach to each and every household providing them banking services.
