The greenish cyan and purple peacock forms the emblem of the Cluster University of Jammu (CUJ). There are five ocellus denoting the five schools of the university are shown a s hexagons with circular dots in their centre. The motto of the university ‘Unified Plurality’ is written below the motif. The peacock denotes grace, broadmindedness and free spirit; the swan symbolises the Goddess Saraswathi, the God of learning and wisdom; the six sided polygon symbolises harmony, balance and unity; the colour purple denotes peace and creativity and it encourages and uplifts, Inspires wisdom and enlightens and the colour greenish cyan or shamrock green symbolises rationality and cleanliness.
