The globe is ensconced in a white circular border with red outlines, which is inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English. At the bottom of the seal, on a red banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं सं वो मनांसि जानताम्’ (10.181.2, Rigveda )meaning ‘Meet Together, Talk Together, Let Your Minds Think Alike’ is inscribed. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the open book denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
