The circle is ensconced by a white border with blue outlines which carries the name of the university. The open book denotes education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the rising sun denotes hope, light, path, energy, power, positivity, illumination and clarity; the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
