The insignia of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) has an earl of corn as the central motif on a blue circle supported by a partial gear rack. Its is ensconced by a border with blue outlines which carries the name of the university, its place and year of its establishment in Devanagari. At the bottom on a white banner with blue ends its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि समृद्धया राष्टाभ्युदयः मतः’ meaning ‘Agricultural Prosperity is the Foundation of National Prosperity’ is inscribed. The corn symbolises the major produce of the locale and agricultural growth and productivity and the gear rack denotes industry, engineering and productivity.
