The emblem of JIS University (JU) has a blue squircle, on which its acronym is inscribed using an experimental typeface in white with the letter ‘I’ treated as a human being. Below this ‘University’ is written between two lines. The human motif symbolises the stakeholders of the university and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
