The emblem of Dr. K.N. Modi University (DKNMU) has the Indian tricolour formed into the shape of the eye with the centre having a blue colour wheel with two concentric circles bearing the acronym of the university and a sun placed in the middle. Its motto in ‘Value Knowledge Character’ is written below the pictorial. The eye shape represents health, protection, good fortune, focus, truth, clarity, light, vision, prophecy, awareness and observation. The tricolour represents the nationalist fervour in university’s endeavours; the blue wheel stands for moving in general and the continuity of changes and the sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
