DAMODARAM SANJIVAYYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY

The emblem of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) houses the motifs of Lady Justice (Lustitia) with the attributes of scales, sword and a blindfold; an open book symbolising knowledge, education and wisdom and poorna kumbha denoting fullness and abundant prosperity supported by a pair of laurels symbolising ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication, all placed on a light green circle. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः’ (Udyoga Parva 37.09) meaning ‘Act Dharma Thus Win’ is placed on a green banner below the motifs. This is a famous saying of Vyasa in his Mahabharata. In the first instance, Dhritarashtra told Lord Krishna this while smoothly rejecting his proposal to give the share of land to the Pandavas. The circle is ensconced by a blue-coloured circular border, which bears the name and place of the university. The colour green symbolises nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
