The circular seal of Dr. Sri Sri Sri Shivakumara Mahaswamy College of Engineering (Dr.SMCE) features an orange circle holding the motifs of a glowing sun with four flying birds supported by an open book ensconced by circular border inscribed with the name of the managing body and its place. The sun  represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the birds symbolise freedom, transcendence, and spiritual messages; and the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
