NATIONAL SPORTS UNIVERSITY

The National Sports University Manipur (NSU), was set up in 2018. The university is presently functional from its temporary campus at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex of Imphal. The emblem of the university has a blue and a pink figure representing a male and a female engaged in a sports activity, supporting a traditional lamp, with its motto forming a halo, surrounded by its name in Devanagari and English in semi circles. All these are ensconced by a blue bordered circle. The lamp signifies light and brightness and destruction of ego, looking up for spiritual knowledge. The colours used are cyan, pink, yellow and blue, which are vibrant, fresh and youthful.

The NISG was registered as a Section 25 company in May 2002 with its headquarters at Hyderabad. The vision of NISG is to establish itself as a centre of excellence in e-Governance to facilitate application of public and private resources to e-Governance in the areas of: strategic planning, project consulting, capacity building, and research and innovation.
