CENTRAL AIR COMMAND

Indian Air Force had undergone a major expansion process during the 1950s wherein the command and control structure was reorganised. The No.1 Operational Group of 1947 at Calcutta was revived in 1958 and was given the responsibility of organising and supervising the aerial operations of the IAF in the Eastern as well as the Central sector of the country. Post Chinese aggression of 1962, further requirement of change was felt and the area of responsibility of this Operational Group was bifurcated in two separate commands. Accordingly, Central Air Command (CAC) was formed in March 1962 to keep vigil along the Indo-Nepal boundaries at Rani Kutir, Kolkata. In February 1966, HQ CAC was shifted to Bamrauli, Allahabad. Its insignia has a spear and an eagle in the centre in a circle which is topped by India’s national emblem. Central Air Command with its motto of ‘Damniyah Atmashatravah’ (Vanquish The Enemy) has an enviable and exemplary record during war and peace time services to the nation.

The dark blue portion is a left to right upward sweeping stroke, bearing the name of the university. The yellow portion has a torch, the flame of which is written using its acronym. The shield has blue borderlines. The name and place of the university is written on the right side of the pictorial in classic serif font. The dark blue with contemporary cues of technology, performance and advancement strikes a synergy with the golden yellow radiance of tradition, culture and values. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. The motifs inside the petals refer to the applications of water in daily life of society.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
