The Murugappa Group began in 1900 as a banking enterprise in the pre - World War 1 era in Burma (Myanmar). Shifting to India war years, the Group established its base in the South. Today, it is a multi billion conglomerate headquartered in Chennai. The major Companies of the Group include Carborundum Universal Ltd., CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Ltd., Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd., Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Ltd., Coromandel International Ltd., Coromandel Engineering Company Ltd., E.I.D. Parry (India) Ltd., Parry Agro Industries Ltd., Shanthi Gears Ltd., Tube Investments of India Ltd. and Wendt (India) Ltd. The Group holds leadership positions in several product lines including abrasives, technical ceramics, electro minerals, auto components and systems, bicycles, fertilisers, sugar, tea and spirulina (nutraceuticals). Renowned brands like BSA, Hercules, Montra, Mach City, Ballmaster, Ajax, Parry’s, Chola, Gromor, Shanthi Gears and Paramfos are from the Murugappa stable. The group’s emblem is in red colour and is made up of a multiple number of ‘M’s make up a dancing peacock supported by its name ‘Murugappa’ in curvy sans serif letters.

DIGILOCKER DigiLocker is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India under its Digital India initiative. DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Indian citizen to access authentic documents and certificates such as driving licence, vehicle registration, academic mark list in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates. It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. Its name is written alongside and its tag line is written below the name.

JHARKHAND GOVERNMENT TOOL ROOM, DUMKA (GTRTC DUMKA) The emblem of Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Dumka (GTRTC Dumka) features a blue gearwheel housing the motifs of a spanner with a pallet knife, a pair of gear wheels and a computer. The gearwheel is ensconced by a circular border with brown outlines inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels. The motto of the college in Sanskrit in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a green banner with red outlines. MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.

ICAR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SUGARCANE RESEARCH The purple and green emblem of ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR) is a wordmark resembling a sugarcane with its vegetative nodes, stalks and sheath-like leaves. The ‘i’s are topped with a gear wheel and  red circle symbolising industrial production and productivity. The letters ‘S’ and ‘R’ are written like a pen to denote research and reporting.
