It signifies the country's commitment to developing a modern and self-reliant maritime ecosystem. The saffron, white, and green colors on the ship's superstructure are the colors of the Indian national flag, highlighting the event's focus on national growth and strategic autonomy. The blue waves beneath the ship represent the oceanic sphere and India's deep connection to it. The color blue is also associated with success and growth. The name of the event is written on the right.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.
