SARVEPALLI RADHAKRISHNAN UNIVERSITY

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University (SRU) was established by RKDF Group was named after the first Vice President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The red and blue circular emblem of the university has a Bouche shield which is divided into four parts and crested by the portrait of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. The first quadrant has Caduceus the Staff of Hermes with a pair of entwined snakes and wings denoting medicine and medical profession; the second quadrant has a book and mortarboard hat representing knowledge and wisdom and educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage respectively; the third quadrant has a computer representing information technology and knowledge revolution and the fourth has a hammer and spanner representing engineering. The shield is ensconced by a blue circular border which carries its name and its motto in Sanskrit ‘विध्याधन सर्वधन प्रधानम्’ meaning ‘The Wealth of Education is the Highest of All Wealth’.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. The motifs inside the petals refer to the applications of water in daily life of society.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
