SARVEPALLI RADHAKRISHNAN UNIVERSITY

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University (SRU) was established by RKDF Group was named after the first Vice President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The red and blue circular emblem of the university has a Bouche shield which is divided into four parts and crested by the portrait of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. The first quadrant has Caduceus the Staff of Hermes with a pair of entwined snakes and wings denoting medicine and medical profession; the second quadrant has a book and mortarboard hat representing knowledge and wisdom and educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage respectively; the third quadrant has a computer representing information technology and knowledge revolution and the fourth has a hammer and spanner representing engineering. The shield is ensconced by a blue circular border which carries its name and its motto in Sanskrit ‘विध्याधन सर्वधन प्रधानम्’ meaning ‘The Wealth of Education is the Highest of All Wealth’.

It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.

SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. Inside the border, motifs of a drum, supported by a pair of horns; an open book topped by a red sun ; a banyan tree and a pair of crests of millets are placed.
