SWAMI VIVEKANANDA YOGA ANUSANDHANA SAMSTHANA

VYASA, is a charitable society registered in 1986 in Nagercoil, Tamilnadu as Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana. The Society established the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA), is a higher education institute deemed to be a university located in Bangalore, India. The insignia of the university in the tones of red has an oval portrait of Swami Vivekananda with his signature. Its name in English and Devanagari circumscribes the portrait at the top and a swoosh bearing its motto ‘Be and Make’ circumscribes the bottom. At each end of the swoosh an open book is placed symbolising knowledge and wisdom. The colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. Its emblem is in the form of a black shield with a crest of flames in yellow and orange colours. The top portion of the shield, which is separated by a horizontal double head arrow line, has its name written in Devanagari topped by a rising sun.
