SWACHHA SANKEERNA

Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department (RDWSD) is working towards ensuring sanitation and providing clean drinking water to the rural areas of Karnataka. It administers the Swachha Sankeerna project, Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin (SBMG) Karnataka and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Karnataka. The emblem of Swachha Sankeerna has two greenish ‘S’s forming a flower supported by its name and the name of the unit -Waste Management Unit in green and black.

Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established. Kalakshetra Foundation as it is known today was recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 1993 and is now an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES) is a non-profit organisation. The emblem of the university has a gear wheel, which is half and half black carrying its motto ‘Transforming Dreams Into Reality’ on top and its name at the bottom. Within this the monogram of its acronym ‘GE’ is designed as a torch in orange and red.
