MANIPUR UNIVERSITY

Manipur University was established on June 5, 1980 under the Manipur University Act 1980 (Manipur Act 8 of 1980), as a teaching cum affiliating university at Imphal with territorial jurisdiction over the whole of the state of Manipur and it was converted into a Central University with effect from October 13, 2005. The red circular emblem of the university traditional lamp burning bright in a circle, symbolising light, brightness, path to progress and growth. This is surrounded by a circular border which carries the the name of the university in Meiteilon and its motto in Sanskrit ‘धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्’ meaning ‘May the Mind that Inspires Us’

The Know Your Approvals (KYA) module includes guidance for thirty two Central Departments and thirty two States. The portal hosts applications for approvals from twenty eight Central Departments and twenty State Governments. These approvals can be applied through NSWS.
