THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY

The NorthCap University (NCU) is a progressive multidisciplinary university located in the city centre of Gurugram, Haryana. Its logo has a three dimensional arch rendered with brown and orange topping the name written in black using sans serif bold. The arch provides a dome or a crown to the university and provides strength and support. An arch is considered as a door between time and space through which the student enters the professional world. The colour orange symbolises freshness, youthfulness, energy, adaptability, stimulation, kindness, ambition, enthusiasm and strength and brown represents earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
