The green circular emblem of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV) houses the motifs of a farmer ploughing field, a spike of wheat, an open book carrying the images of a microscope and a tractor and its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्राणिनां प्राणदा कृषि’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Lifeblood of Living Beings’. All the motifs represent the field of agriculture and the scope of the university. All these are ensconced by a white circular border with green outlines which carries its year of inception, name and place in Devanagari and English.

It has been accorded the status of Private University under Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. RAJA SHANKAR SHAH UNIVERSITY, CHHINDWARA Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara University (RSUC) has been established by the GOvernment of Madhya Pradesh dated June 17, 2019. The green colour octagonal emblem of the university is a pictorial of a flower created using the motifs of three open books, seven humans and reading of books standing on a pedestal. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi.
