The emblem of Vishnu Institute of Technology (VITB) features a stylised, three-dimensional shape composed of three interconnected arrows. The orange, purple, and green arrows are create a dynamic, forward-moving visual. Below this graphic element, the name ‘Vishnu’ is displayed in bold, uppercase letters, followed by its motto ‘Universal Learning’ in smaller, uppercase letters. This design is intended to convey the institution's commitment to growth, innovation, and comprehensive education. The three arrows represent the three core aspects of the college's mission: academic excellence, personal development, and societal impact. The colours may symbolise different facets of learning and growth, with orange often associated with enthusiasm, purple with creativity, and green with balance and progress.

TOBACCO BOARD The Tobacco Board was constituted as a statutory body on January 1, 1976 under Section (4) of the Tobacco Act, 1975. The Board is headed by a chairman with headquarters at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and is responsible for the development of the tobacco industry. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. Lotus symbolises knowledge, wisdom and purity and the gear wheel symbolises energy, movement, advancement and progress.

NATIONAL BANK FOR FINANCING INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT The need for establishing a dedicated financial institution to address the long-term infrastructure financing requirements in India was realised considering the nation’s GDP growth objectives and the role of infrastructure development towards the same. In response to this need, the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development Act, 2021 was introduced, as it denotes the return of Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) in the country after a few decades. The Act subsequently received the assent of the President on March 28, 2021 and has come into force effective April 19, 2021. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) vide its letter dated March 8, 2022 has advised that NaBFID shall be regulated and supervised by RBI as an All India Financial Institution (AIFI) under sections 45L and 45N of the RBI Act, 1934, respectively. Its logo is a wordmark of its acronym in blue with ‘a’ in lowercase.

THE JAMMU & KASHMIR LIGHT INFANTRY India's first Light Infantry was born out of the peoples' response in 1947, to the invasion of Kashmir by Pakistan. In the difficult days of the invasion, the population formed local defence groups. These were later organised into militias responsible for specific sectors, e.g., Leh, Nubra, Jammu, Punch, etc. Over a period, these were grouped into the Militia battalions. Two of these were later converted into the Ladakh Scouts. The militia battalions operated with skill on the Line of Control (LoC) and in the 1971 Indo-Pak War earned three battle honours. In 1972, the militia battalions were brought on par with the army units, and in 1976 designated the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI). The 8th JAK LI earned great honour by capturing a Pakistani post at 21,000 feet at the Siachen Glacier in 1987.
