The emblem of Sri Subramaniaswamy Government Arts College (SSGAC) features a shield housing the image of Arulmigu Subramanyaswamy Temple, Malaikoil of Tiruttani and motifs of ‘kuthuvilakku’ (a traditional lamp), a pair of hockey sticks and lotus ensconced by a border inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘அறிவே அரண்’ and ‘Knowledge is Power’. On a green banner placed below the shield the name of the college is inscribed. The temple is the most important heritage and historical and religious landmark of Tirutani; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the hockey sticks refer to sports and games; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
