The emblem of AVS College of Arts and Science (AVSC) features a shield housing the motifs of a traditional lamp, a veena and an open book, supported by a red banner inscribed with its motto in Tamil ‘கற்க ஊறும் அறிவு’ meaning ‘Knowledge Springs from the Fountain of Learning’. The assemblage is supported by a banner inscribed with the tagline of the college ‘Wisdom Triumphs’ and surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name of the college in Tamil. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lamp  symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the veena refers to the arts, culture and heritage; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

The circular emblem of the university has an orange eight toothed gear wheel bearing the university’s name in Meiteilon ensconcing the motifs of a pair of gear wheels, a student with mortarboard hat and a rising sun in the background of Kanglasha - Nongsaba, i.e. half lion and half dragon. EMBLEM OF HARYANA The state of Haryana was split from Punjab state on November 1,1966. The main part of the actual state was ceded to the East India Company in 1803. In 1832 it was added to the Northwest Provinces and in 1858 to Punjab to which it belonged until 1966. In the centre of the state the Principality of Jind was located. The emblem of Haryana shows a sun and a lotus-flower rising from a lake. The title of the emblem is 'Government of Haryana'. It is surrounded by a garland of ears of wheat and has the national symbol with motto of the Indian Republic as a crest.
