This assemblage is supported on sides by a pair of laurels and by a traditional lamp at the bottom. The Staff of Aesculapius denotes medicine and medical profession; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the lamp symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
