The emblem of A Doraisamy Nadar Maragathavalli Ammal College for Women (Autonomous) (ADNMACW) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of the the minaret of Nagoor Dargha, the gopuram of Sri Kayarohanaswami Temple, spires of  Velankanni Church, a pair of women holding lamps and an open book. On a banner placed above the shield, the name of the college is written and the banner placed below the shield is inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Discipline Duty Devotion’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the towers of the places of worship refer to divine blessings and guidance; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the women holding the lamps symbolise light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears.
