UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.

RV UNIVERSITY RV Educational Institutions (RVEI), governed by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). RV University is a State private university which has been established in Karnataka State with RSST as the sponsoring body through Act No.11 of 2019. The emblem of the university in gold colour has a sun symbolising platform for growth; an open book symbolising knowledge and learning and a tree symbolising continuous growth and development. At the bottom of this motif on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्ञाः धीराः’ meaning  ‘The Wisdom Being Patient’ is placed. At the right of the pictorial its name is written in two lines using sans serif font. Below its name its slogan ‘Go, Change the World’ is written in italics.

ICAR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF NATURAL RESINS AND GUMS (IINRG) The emblem of ICAR-Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums (IINRG) features stadium shaped panel housing the motifs of a twig of three prominent ‘palas’ leaves (Butea monosperma), commonly known as the Palas or ‘Flame of the Forest’ tree supported by lac resin and gum drops. The text at the bottom of the frame is the institute's acronym in Devanagari ‘भा.प्रा.रा.गो.सं.’ with its English counterpart ‘IINRG’, on the right. The foliage of the palas tree is historically and economically the most significant host plant utilised for lac cultivation in India. The lac resin symbolises raw lac encrustation secreted by the tiny lac insect (Kerria lacca) onto the twigs of host trees. Pillay Engineering College (EGSPEC) features a image of Lord Ganesha placed inside the Tamil letter ‘ஓம்’ and kept on a shield ensconced by a border inscribed with its name. Its orange circular emblem has peepal tree topped with a slogan in Sanskrit ‘स्वतः प्रमाणं परतः प्रमाणम्’ meaning ‘Self-evidence is Beyond Evidence’, supported by a veena; a lotus blooming in a river with fish; mountains with flowing rivers and shining sky in the backdrop is ensconced in a circular border, on which its name is written in Devanagari. SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) was established on February 10, 1949 under the Poona University Act. The lotus shaped emblem of SPPU has Shaniwar Wada, the palace of Peshwas of the Maratha Empire founded By Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the bottom left and right are the Fort of Raigad, the capital of the empire and the Parvati Hill Temple of Pune respectively, placed inside a circle. Between these circles are a pair of crossed swords, elephant heads and pens. The Shaniwar Wada is supported by two horses standing upright holding an open book which has the words 'Savitribai Phule Pune University' inscribed on it along with the year of its establishment, 1949 AD. A pair of swastikas are placed below the book.
