The emblem of AET College (AET College) features a blue circle with a shield housing the motifs of a torch with flame supported by a lotus and an open book inscribed with the words ‘Thirukkural’. The blue circle is ensconced by a yellow circular border inscribed with the name of the college. The motto of the college in Tamil ‘அறிவு ஆற்றல் உண்மை ஒழுக்கம் meaning ‘Knowledge Power Truth Morality’ is written on a yellow banner placed below the seal. The shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
