The emblem of Madras Medical College (MMC) features the Staff of Aesculapius crested by a by raising the right hand with the palm facing outward at shoulder height, fingers pointing up entwined by a pair of snakes featuring a pair of wings. The name of the college and its year of establishment of the college are written in Tamil and English around the Staff. On a banner, placed below the seal the motto of the college ‘Learn to Heal’ is inscribed. The Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
