MAM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (MAMCET)

The emblem of MAM College of Engineering and Technology (MAMCET) features a shield with blue outlines housing the motif of an entrance with four pillars surmounted by three stars on a red background. The initials of the college ‘MAMCET’ are written above the shield. Pillars Basically pillars are the bridge to heaven from earth and pillar means strength, security of foundation and trustworthiness. The four pillars symbolise cosmic Yugas (ages) or Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha (foundational truths). They provide structural support but more importantly define sacred space, separating the mundane from the divine and hinting at completeness or universal access. The stars represent perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
