The emblem of S.T. Hindu College (STHC) features a shield housing a ‘kuthuvilakku’ (a traditional lamp), a plough with a crest of rice, an image of Goddess Saraswati, and a gopuram. The shield is supported by a pair of elephants on the sides and a banner at the bottom inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘ஒழுக்கம் விழுப்பம் தரும்’ (Thiruvalluvar, 131, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Propriety of Conduct Leads to Eminence’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lamp symbolises symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the plough and paddy refer to agriculture; and the gopuram symbolises God and divine blessings; and the elephants signify power, strength, unity and wisdom. Goddess Saraswati embodies the essence of 'vach' (speech), knowledge, and creative expression, symbolising the power to purify the self through the flow of wisdom and art. She represents the pursuit of knowledge and truth, free from the distractions and illusions of the material world.

The motifs are supported by a banner inscribed with ‘Electronics’ and another banner inscribed with its motto ‘Manpower Development’. This assemblage is ensconced by a gearwheel and superscribed with an atomic structure. These are ensconced by its name and a pair of laurels. The atomic structure refers to the science of engineering; the gearwheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the elephants represent the State of Kerala.
