On a banner placed on the seal at the bottom, the motto of the college ‘அறிவுடையார் எல்லாம் உடையார்’ (430, Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar) meaning ‘The Wise Possess Everything (Even if They Have Nothing Else)’. The Rockfort symbolises the history and heritage of the place of the college.
