GOVERNMENT ARTS COLLEGE, MELUR (MELUR GAC)

The emblem of Government Arts College, Melur (Melur GAC) features a yellow shield with violet outlines housing the motifs of the gopuram of Sri Kalyanasundareswarr Temple supported by an open book and globe at the bottom and a hand holding a mask the right and a another holding a torch on the left. The shield is supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘ஓதல் ஒழுக்கம் உலக ஒருமை’ meaning ‘The DIscipline of Learning Global Unity’ and surmounted by a yellow banner inscribed with the name of the college in Tamil. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gopuram refers to heritage, history and divine blessings and guidance; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the hand with torch is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the hand with a mask refer to extracurricular activities.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
