NORTH-EASTERN HILL UNIVERSITY

The North-Eastern Hill University Act (24 of 1973) passed by both Houses of Parliament received the assent of the President of India on May 26, 1973. The emblem of the university has a rising sun in a yellow circle, surrounded by a thick border in orange carrying its name, with a range of green mountains supporting. Below this an open book written ‘Rise up and Build’ is kept. This is supported by a yellow banner adding reverence. The sun, the mountain range and the colours yellow, orange and green represent the land of the rising sun.

DIGILOCKER DigiLocker is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India under its Digital India initiative. DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Indian citizen to access authentic documents and certificates such as driving licence, vehicle registration, academic mark list in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates. It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. Its name is written alongside and its tag line is written below the name.
