The yellow colour gearwheel shaped emblem of SNS College of Technology (SNSCT) features a gearwheel inscribed with the motifs of a computer, a microscope, a power symbol, a satellite dish antenna and a hammer and a spanner referring to different branches of engineering studies. In the middle of the gearwheel a picture of the Goddess Sri Rajarajeswari is placed on a blue oval. A banner inscribed with the motto ‘Sincerity Nobility Service’ is placed below the picture of the Goddess. The gearwheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the Goddess signifies divine blessings and benevolence; and the colour yellow signifies happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism). These are supported by a partial wheel of gear, in the counter of which its motto in Sanskrit ‘विश्वं ग्रामे प्रतिष्टितम्' meaning 'The World is Established from the Village' is inscribed.
