On a green banner placed below the sprocket wheel the initials of the college ‘MREC’ and the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानमेव शक्तिः’ meaning ‘Knowledge is The Power’ is inscribed. The sprocket wheel symbolises represents mechanical function, movement, and interconnectedness; The book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power.
